Grandwood Ranch

Best Engineering was retained for quality assurance for constructional materials testing for Elite Surface Infrastructure who was the general contractor for the project. The project generally consisted of installation of roadways, public storm sewer and single-family homes for a new residential development called “Grandwood Ranch” in Monument, Colorado. The Grandwood Ranch development consists of 48 lots, each approximately 2 acres in size. The new roadways included in the development are Copper Valley Court, Furrow Road, Sunnyvale Trail, Pasture Trail, and Grandwood Drive. Best Engineering performed the pavement design for the development, as well as laboratory testing and field observations for the storm sewer installation, subgrade preparation and asphalt placement for the new roadways.
